TRAN NGOC DUC (b. 1963)
Tran Ngoc Duc was born in 1963 in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan province, Vietnam. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, where he received formal academic training between 1978 and 1983.
His artistic practice spans several decades and focuses on philosophical reflections on belief, humanity, and social structures. Through expressive compositions and symbolic imagery, his works often examine the relationship between individuals, institutions, and spiritual space.
Tran Ngoc Duc has held solo and group exhibitions at major art institutions in Vietnam, including the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum and the Hanoi Fine Arts Museum. His works are held in private collections in Australia, Germany, France, England, Spain, Portugal, and the United States.
